Pets 2 the Rescue

We welcome you to participate in the annual Pets 2 the Rescue event and help VVAPL's animals.

During this time of economic stress, shelter donations are down, and shelter fundraisers have been cancelled, but the needs of homeless dogs and cats in our care are as great as ever.  Pets 2 the Rescue is a 1-mile and 5K virtual run/walk event to raise funds for VVAPL and other non-profit animal shelters and pet adoption agencies across the US. 

Dogs wants to walk or run to help less fortunate shelter animals.  Cats want to help, too.  Pets 2 the Rescue is their opportunity!

Register between now and June 15 for just $10 and 100% of your registration fee goes to VVAPL.  You can make an even greater impact by making an additional donation as you register.   

How does it work?  3 easy steps:

1. Register for the virtual 1 mile, 5 mile or virtual 5K any time between now and June 15.  During registration you will be asked to choose your participating Shelter and team.  Be sure to select CA Victor Valley Animal Protective League (VVAPL) and 100% of your $10 registration fee will come to us.  That’s right, 100%. (You can also choose to make an additional donation as you register.)

2.  Walk, Run or Bike your distance (with your pet if you would like) by June 15.  Note:  Local Stay at Home orders allow us to run outdoors (observing Social Distancing guidelines).

3.  Submit your Time online either using the free “IYR Virtual” mobile app or manually in the online race results.  CLICK HERE for instructions on how to use the IYR Virtual app and enter your time.

*Precision Race LLC is a race company based in Raleigh North Carolina.  For more than 10 years we have been producing, managing, and timing running and cycling events across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.  We have recently expanded into the Midwest with our St Louis office.  We’ve been involved in close to 1,000 events, and almost all of them are charity events for a wide array of non-profits.
