Southwest Gas encourages a culture of giving, and their employees have a long and proud history of making a meaningful difference in the communities they serve. Through their employee charitable giving program - Fuel For Life - employees have the opportunity to support local nonprofits through one-time gifts or ongoing payroll deductions.
This year, through the Fuel For Life program, the generous SWG employees donated $7,608.42 to VVAPL Humane Society, which will be used for animal care and adoption programs. In addition, the employee-volunteer team called Blue – Building Lives Up Everywhere – will assist at VVAPL Humane Society during the nationwide pet adoption drive on August 19 called Clear the Shelters.
“Southwest Gas and their employees are amazing,” said Saenz. “Because of their giving, we reach more prospective pet parents, which means more pets find homes.”
