"PETS OF THE WEEK"

COOKIE

Ideal companion is his game; Cookie is his name.  He’s a 2-year-old Chihuahua/Pomeranian Mix, weighing in at just under 10 pounds.  This handsome boy adores affection.  Whether he’s on your lap, in your arms, or sitting by you side, he’ll lap up all your caresses.  You’ll love his friendly, easy going nature.  He likes to play and walks really well on a leash.  Give him a treat, and he’ll gently take it from your hands.  He was housebroken, but will need a refresher when you get him home.  Cookie is good with children, dogs and cats.  Come down and meet Cookie.  You’ll fall in love with his sweet, warm personality.

Visit www.facebook.com/vvapl.humanesociety for more photos of Cookie.

TOAD & SMOKE

Their looks might fool you, but these 8-week-old kitties are bothers.  Toad is a brown Tabby, and Smoke is Siamese.  Toad is a bit shier than Smoke, but both are curious, playful boys.  One minute they’re exploring every nook and cranny of the room, and the next they’re pouncing on each other.  Swing a cat toy in front of them and watch as they try to catch it.  These boys also enjoy being snuggled.  You could say they are cuddle kitties.  They are good with children and cats, but not dogs.  They’re available for adoption together or separately.  Come down and cuddle them close to your body, and you’ll be sold as they purr to their hearts’ content.

Please note:  A $75 deposit is required with each adoption.  The money will be refunded when they are brought back to be neutered.
