Over 40 Animals waiting for Adoptions

Thanks to a generous donation, all cat adoptions have been sponsored by $25.00!!!!

Now is the perfect time to adopt a new pet.

Don't keep it a secret, tell everyone the animals are waiting for homes.

For 2014, the adoption fee for cats is only $25.00 instead of the regular fee of $50.00.

We currently have a need for paper towels.  We use them to clean the dog kennels and cat cages.  It is more economical and sanitary than using and washing cloth towels.  You can donate the paper towels or donate money to be used for the purchase of paper towels.  A great way for a club, school or service organization to help is by having a paper towel drive.  The best part is all donations are tax deductible.  If you have any questions, please call VVAPL at (760) 247-2102.

Did you know that you can sponsor an adoption even if you can't take the animal yourself?

By donating $35.00, you can sponsor an animal waiting for adoption.  Many times this is all that's needed to motivate  someone to give an animal a chance.

Little Joe might look fierce, but he’s really a little lamb.  He’s a male 2 to 3-year-old Bullmastiff Mix.  This friendly boy is very sweet.  When you call him his face lights up, and he quickly walks over so you’ll lavish him with caresses.  This cute canine’s not into playing.  Relaxing by your side is more his speed.  He’s a mellow boy that just goes with the flow.  Little Joe is attentive when working on commands.  He sits, walks well on a leash and takes treats gently from your hand.  He’s good with children, but not cats.  As with any strong breed, he would need to be introduced to any family canines to make sure they would be friends.  Little Joe would love to meet you and let his loving nature do the talking.

Mc Nab is a male 1-year-old Ginger Tabby.  Unfortunately his owner was moving and unable to take him.  He’s a bit shy at first, but it won’t take long before you’re fast friends.  This silly boy enjoys playing with his cat toys, climbing on the cat trees and exploring everything.  He really is a lover boy.  He adores snuggling against you so you’ll shower him with caresses.  He’ll even cuddle with you when he’s in the mood.  McNab is good with children, cats and dogs.  Spend some time with this friendly feline.  You won’t be able to resist his affectionate personality.
